La Badil will be screening in London on October 24th at Hundred Years Gallery, as part of a photo exhibition and film retrospective organised by Sandblast. The event commemorates 40 years of the struggle of the Sahrawi people in Western Sahara and offers audiences a rare opportunity to explore the ongoing fight for freedom and self-determination through both visual and cinematic storytelling.
The screening will be accompanied by photographs documenting life under occupation, providing a unique, immersive perspective on a conflict that remains largely overlooked internationally. Attendees will have the chance to engage with the film’s themes, learn about the Sahrawi struggle, and discuss the role of documentary filmmaking in bringing hidden stories to light.
